“I’m so, so sorry. It was only a short time since the last performance, but I wanted to show you a good performance, but I feel like I wasn’t professional enough, and honestly, I don’t remember anything either,” the popstar wrote, referring to the incident.
She assured her fans that she’s focusing on recovery and closely monitoring her health condition.
“I’ll work on building my stamina and work hard consistently. It would be so great if everything went my way, but I’ll try my best..!! Some reports are linking HyunA’s on-stage collapse to her recent drastic weight loss. Before the Waterbomb Macau 2025 performance, the K-pop singer previously shared that she had lost around 10 kilograms in just a month, raising concerns about her health and stamina and given her known history of vasovagal syncope, a condition that can cause fainting, fans and media speculated that the combination of rapid weight loss, exhaustion, and performance stress may have triggered the incident. However, her agency has yet to confirm if her weight loss directly caused the fainting.
