ChatGPT is Down, First Outage Report in 2025
ChatGPT is down. Apparently, it is a global outage. I only see “Bad Gateway” on my screen. This technical issue occurred on Jan. 23, around 7:30 pm GMT+8. Some may experience or see a different message on the platform. According to a news outlet, OpenAI has acknowledged the tech issue.

“This issue has now been resolved. Between 3.33 am and 4.23 am PST [12.33 pm and 13.23 pm CET], customers experienced elevated error rates on ChatGPT and the API,” the company said.
The good thing is the company is now fixing the issue. Let’s hope it will be restored soon.
