Veteran Actress, ‘Palibhasa Lalaki’ Cast Gloria Romero Passes Away
The Philippines showbiz industry is mourning as veteran actress Gloria Romero passed away on Saturday, Jan. 25. Her daughter, Maritess Gutierrez, confirmed the news.
“To our dearest family, relatives and friends: It is with great sadness to announce the passing of my beloved Mother, Gloria Galla Gutierrez aka Gloria Romero who peacefully joined our Creator earlier today Jan. 25, 2025,” Gutierrez wrote.
According to The Manila Times, the wake will be held at Arlington Memorial Chapel Hall, Araneta Avenue, Quezon City. On Sunday, Jan. 26, the schedule is exclusive for family and friends, with a novena at 5:00 p.m. The public viewing will be on Monday, Jan. 27 to 28, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
