The Drake Curse

The Drake Curse has been a running joke for years because some teams and athletes whom Drake supported or bet on lost. Everyone thought the curse had been broken when the rapper won in a bet, winning over $2 million after successfully predicting the winner of Super Bowl LVIII.

He wagered $1.15 million on the Kansas City Chiefs to win against the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl. With odds of 2.04, he took home a payout of $2.346 million.

Of course, he’s proud of the victory. He mentioned Taylor Swift’s fanbase on IG, telling the good news.

“I can’t bet against the swifties @stake,” he wrote in the caption of an Instagram post where he screenshotted his betting slip.
