
No Classes on March 24: List of Universities and Schools in Metro Manila That Announced Class Suspension
Sunday, March 23: Some schools and universities announced face-to-face class suspensions in Metro Manila due to a looming transport strike on Monday, March 24. According to Rappler, the strike starts from March 24 to 26. Some universities have announced a shift to online classes. Below is the list of schools and universities announced face-to-face class suspensions with other instructions:
- De La Salle University – synchronous online classes for all levels
- Mapua University – synchronous online classes for senior high school
- Colegio de San Juan de Letran – synchronous online classes for all levels
- Far Eastern University Alabang – synchronous online classes for all levels
- University of Santo Tomas – synchronous online classes for all levels
- Adamson University – synchronous online classes for all levels
- Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila – synchronous online classes for all levels
UPDATE:
- Philippine Normal University – synchronous online classes for all levels
- Manuel L. Quezon University – online classes from March 24 to 26 on all levels
- Malolos City – online classes for all levels (suspension of in-person classes)
- Centro Escolar University Manila, Makati, and Malolos – synchronous and asynchronous online classes; University announces midterm examinations rescheduled for March 26 to 29
- University of Perpetual Help System Laguna – online classes for all levels
- Polytechnic University of the Philippines – synchronous online classes for all levels
- University of the Philippines – asynchronous classes from March 24 to March 26.
