Genshin Impact Update Natlan

Natlan Arrives Today With Genshin Impact’s Major Annual Update!

Roam the brand-new nation of Natlan as its best warriors or as a Saurian to take your game to the next level during open-world exploration!

SINGAPORE, Aug 28, 2024 – Today, the popular open-world adventure RPG Genshin Impact launched its major expansion Version 5.0, titled “Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn”. The sixth major nation Natlan finally opens its gates for all players who have completed all Mondstadt Archon Quests. Discover local tribes, diverse landscapes, and rich legends as you explore Natlan. Experience an unprecedented playstyle with the agility and unique skills of local warriors and Natlan’s Saurians.

To better showcase the new gameplay features of Natlan, tips and simple guides are included in the press kit “Version 5.0 Natlan Details Guide.” This document provides detailed information on Natlan’s unique resource, Phlogiston, and the Nightsoul-related mechanisms, as well as new characters, Saurians, boss enemies, and the adorable creatures roaming this new nation. It also includes additional details, screenshots, and video clips.

Early and mid-game players are invited to join the adventure in Natlan. Those who have completed all Archon Quests in Mondstadt will unlock a Teleport Waypoint in Natlan. Additionally, players can quickly use the Quick Start feature to begin Natlan’s Archon Quests upon reaching Adventure Rank 28 and completing all Archon Quests in Liyue.

Exploration in Natlan takes on a whole new dimension when players transform into Saurians, the dragons of Natlan. Each type of Saurian possesses unique exploration abilities tailored to navigate the diverse landscape of Natlan. The Tepetlisaurus can tunnel underground and scale cliffs, the Yumkasaurus can pull themselves in the chosen direction and reach great heights with ease, and the Koholasaurus is adept at moving swiftly on water and even across liquid Phlogiston.

Meanwhile, three new playable characters from Natlan — Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina—introduce exciting new playstyles with enhanced mobility. Mualani, a five-star Hydro catalyst wielder, can mount a Sharky Surfboard to surf across various surfaces and deliver powerful bites to her enemies. Kinich, making his debut as a five-star Dendro warrior wielding a claymore, uses a grappling hook to swing through the air and perform devastating Loop Shots. Kachina, a four-star Geo polearm wielder, can ride her Turbo Twirly to engage in combat and climb cliffs with ease. In Version 5.0’s Event Wishes, Mualani and Kachina will debut in the first phase alongside a rerun of Kaedehara Kazuha, while Kinich will make his debut in the second phase with Raiden Shogun.

Version 5.0 also celebrates the fourth anniversary of Genshin Impact with a wealth of rewards and system optimizations. Players can invite a free 5-star character from the Standard Wish lineup, claim up to Intertwined Fate ×10 in the daily login event, and receive Primogems ×1,600, two exclusive gadgets, and more via in-game mail. Additionally, more updates on the Character Event Wish, Weapon Event Wish, and a new tool that allows players to obtain an Artifact with some custom affixes will be featured.

Genshin Impact has released Version 5.0 as of August 28, featuring the new nation of Natlan. With cross-progression and Co-Op functions, players can enjoy their adventure across PlayStation®, PC, Android, and iOS. The game has been rated T for Teen by ESRB on PS5, PS4, PC, and Google Play, and 12+ on iOS.
