MLS: D.C. United vs Atlanta United Final Score Thoughts and Reaction
After the final whistle, it was a 1-1 draw for the D.C. United and Atlanta United match. Atlanta United gave a standard away performance. Their performance in the first half was stable to say the least, but they allowed D.C. United to get their bearings in the second half and weren’t able to put pressure on them with their preferred style of play much.
Atlanta’s Tyler Wolff continued his career-defining season with plays resulting to Saba’s goal. His persistence won the ball and he played an excellent pass for the assist.
Again, it was the typical away game for a team on short rest against a tenacious opponent. For this one, a draw is a respectable outcome.
