John Cena to Wrestle in a Handicap Match for Fastlane
16-time World Champion and actor John Cena is set to see action in the Fastlane premium live event of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). The match is scheduled to be a handicap match against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso, who are members of the stable The Bloodline.
The last time Cena wrestled during a WWE PPV is back in April for WrestleMania 39. He lost his one-on-one match against Austin Theory.

The announcement of the match was made on the September 25 edition of Monday Night Raw. WWE made the announcement on its social media accounts as well. You can view its announcement on X (formerly Twitter) below.

It should be noted that Cena’s current storyline with the Sikoa and Uso also involve AJ Styles. However, Styles was hospitalized during last week’s edition of SmackDown as part of the ongoing storyline.
As of writing, it is not year clear whether or not Styles will make an appearance during Fastlane. As the injury is only kayfabe or not legitimate, there is a possibility that he will appear during the live event.
WWE Fastlane PPV
The upcoming Fastlane premium live event is scheduled to place on October 7, Saturday. The premium live event will be held at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Aside from John Cena’s handicap match against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso, another match confirmed as of writing is Seth Rollins versus Shinsuke Nakamura. The match will be for the World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins will be entering match as champion.
It has likewise been announced during Monday Night Raw that this match will be a Last Man Standing match. What this means is that the only way to win is by count out via standing. Any competitor can be counted out anywhere during the match, which is classified as hardcore match.
