Grimes Takes Legal Action Against Elon Musk Concerning Their Three Children
Grimes, known by her birth name Claire Boucher, has taken legal action against her ex-partner Elon Musk regarding their three children. The “Genesis” artist filed a “petition to establish parental relationship” in a California court on September 29, as revealed by court records obtained by Page Six.
The purpose of this petition is to formally identify the legal parents of a child when they are unmarried. While the case docket is public, the actual filings have been sealed. There is no indication that Elon Musk, the co-founder of Tesla, has responded to Grimes’ petition at this time.
It’s worth noting that Grimes has not yet requested child support or custody rights as part of this legal action.
Grimes, 35, and Musk, 52, began their relationship in 2018 and experienced an on-again, off-again dynamic until their final split in September 2021. They welcomed their first child, a son named X Æ A-Xii, in May 2020, and later discreetly welcomed their daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, also known as Y, via surrogate in December 2021.
