Chelsea Gets Much Needed Win After Beating Fulham 2-0

Chelsea Football Club finally scored what is only its second win in the current English Premier League (EPL) season. The Mauricio Pochettino-led club won 2-o over Fulham.

Left winger Mykhailo Mudryk finally scored his first goal during the 18th minute of the game with Levi Colwill scoring the assist. The Ukrainian player joined the squad in January for this year. You can watch Mudryk score his first goal below.

The second goal was scored by the club’s striker, Armando Broja, who returned to the first team after suffering a knee injury in 2022. Broja scored his first goal for the season off of an assist from Cole Palmer

Chelsea Scores Its Second Win

Chelsea’s win means that the club is now in 11th place. Prior to the game, the London-based club was in 14th place.

The club’s starting XI, following a 4-3-3 formation for the game, are as follows:

Sanchez, Palmer, and Cucurella all received a yellow card each during the game. As for Fulham, only Andreas Pereira was booked with a yellow card. Fulham followed a 4-2-3-1 formation for the match.

As previously mentioned, this is only the club’s second win in the EPL. Its first win happened against Luton Town with the game ending 3-0 in favor of the Blues.

What’s Up Ahead for the Blues

Pochettino’s squad is scheduled to go up against Burnley on October 7 for its next match. This game will then be followed by a match against Arsenal on October 22. For its last game for the month, the Blues will then go head-to-head against Brentford on October 28.

As far as EPL standings are concerned, Burnley ranks 19th as of press time. Arsenal ranks third, while Brentford ranks 14th.
