Zyxel Networks Wifi 7

Zyxel Networks helps SMBs overcome WiFi limitations with industry’s unmatched WiFi 7 portfolio

Four new WiFi 7 access points with various antenna configuration options enable SMBs to experience optimal WiFi tailored to their network environments

Hsinchu, Taiwan, November 25, 2024—Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure, AI-powered cloud networking solutions, has announced four new WiFi 7 access points (APs)—NWA110BE, NWA210BE, WBE510D and WBE630S* with speeds up to 6500Mbps and 12300Mbps. The new Zyxel Networks’ APs join three existing models to boast the most comprehensive WiFi 7 AP range available on the market today, providing an option to suit every business, no matter its size or scenario.

Unmatched antenna design for every environment

When it comes to WiFi performance, antenna design is crucial to signal strength, coverage and reliability. Zyxel Networks’ new WiFi 7 APs adopt three different designs, to provide the best possible user experience across different scenarios.

  • The NWA110BE and NWA210BE come with internal antennas, making them ideal for ceiling mount and simple, general purpose WiFi environments.
  • The WBE510D adopts dual-optimized antennas and is designed for both ceiling and wall mount scenarios or in more complex WiFi environments. Network admins can easily adjust the radio pattern without compromising performance.
  • The WBE630S, for the most challenging and crowded environments, boasts smart antennas that intelligently shape antenna patterns to mitigate interference.

Unparalleled range and performance

All elements of the new APs have been meticulously engineered to deliver the best WiFi experience. The exclusive RF First design minimizes interference from nearby channels and 4G/5G mobile networks. The rectangular shape gives more space for superior antenna isolation, delivering stronger signal-to-noise ratio and reducing interference.

The four new dual-radio APs all offer tri-band support. Zyxel Networks’ exclusive BandFlex design gives users the option to choose between 5GHz and 6GHz bands, providing even more flexibility. The 2×2+4×4 antenna configuration provides wider WiFi range and better performance than most dual-radio WiFi 7 APs with 2×2+2×2 antenna on the market.

AI-powered management and robust security

Seamlessly integrated with Zyxel Networks’ Nebula cloud, these APs provide businesses with AI-powered features, enabling quick configuration, diagnosis and troubleshooting to solve common WiFi issues. Nebula’s Connect & Protect Plus (CNP+), a cloud-based WiFi security service, allows administrators to enforce security policies directly through the APs without changing the network infrastructure to protect against malware, phishing, and harmful sites.

“We are seeing real momentum among businesses to adopt WiFi 7 devices, but often the underlying network capabilities are not able to deliver the expected user experience”, said Mr. Gary Chen, SEA regional head at Zyxel Networks.  “By adding four new WiFi 7 access points to our range, we are able to support SMBs to adopt new technologies smoothly, driving continued penetration of WiFi 7 worldwide.”

The new APs are equipped with dual power options of PoE+ and USB Type-C charging, providing choice and supporting eco-initiatives by leveraging existing charging hardware.
