Season 2 of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Confirmed
Season 2 of “The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten” anime is officially in production, as earlier announced with a teaser visual and a promotional video summarizing the first season. No additional details have been disclosed at this time.
The first season of the anime was produced by Project No.9, with Kenichi Imaizumi serving as the director. Keiichiro Oochi was responsible for the series composition, Takayuki Noguchi handled character design, and Moe Hyuuga composed the music. The primary cast members included:

The inaugural season of the anime aired from January 7th to March 25th earlier this year. It received the title of Anime Corner’s “Best Anime” for Winter 2023, capturing 6.98% of the votes.
“The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten” anime is an adaptation of a 2018 light novel series by Saekisan, illustrated by Hanekoto. It initially debuted on Shosetsuka ni Naro in December before being acquired by SB Creative, subsequently published under its GA Bunko label in June 2019. The series later received a manga adaptation featuring art by Wan Shibata and composition by Suzu Yuki. This manga has been serialized in Square Enix’s Manga UP! since January 2020.
Yen Press has obtained the English license for the light novel and offers the following plot description:
Mahiru is a stunning girl known as an “angel” by her classmates. She excels as both a star athlete and a top student, and her beauty is breathtaking. Amane, an ordinary guy and self-proclaimed slob, has never paid much attention to this divine beauty despite attending the same school. However, everything changes when he encounters Mahiru sitting alone in a park during a rainstorm. This marks the beginning of an unusual relationship between this incredibly unlikely pair!
