National Bicycle Day 2024: 2025 Partylist Election Candidate to Co-Present Christmas Bike Demo
The semi-annual Philippine Bicycle Demo and Expo is scheduled for Nov. 30 to Dec. 1 at the CCP Open Grounds in Pasay City.
A number of cycling stores, products, and creators are expected to attend the event. Food stalls, clothing brands, and even advocacy groups are also expected to feature their products, services, and campaigns on site.
The organizers held a previous event earlier this year at the campus of the University of the Philippines Diliman, while the Christmas edition in 2023 was previously held at Filinvest City in Muntinlupa.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Department of Transportation’s Active Transport Project Office (ATPO) held its National Bicycle Day events between Nov. 21 and 24, culminating in a fun ride and expo at Arcovia City in Pasig, located within the Ortigas CBD.
National Bicycle Day is held every fourth weekend of November.
Political Involvement
It is understood that the political partylist 1Munti will co-present this edition of the cycling meet. 1Munti is expected to contest for a seat in the lower house of the Philippine Congress in the May 2025 general election.
According to 1Munti, its involvement in civic action pertaining to the welfare of the youth ranges from active mobility to the promotion of sports, physical and mental health, and everything in between.
“1Munti has long advocated for the welfare of children and ensuring that they are well-prepared to enter the ranks of the workforce when they become adults,” partylist first nominee Raffy Garcia said.
Whether the partylist would take this opportunity to pitch its campaign to attendees remains to be seen.
